ABOUT
Amy currently lives on the south coast of England with her family and can usually be found growing roses when she isn't writing.
Despite a perfectly well-adjusted upbringing, she became fascinated by pretty dark things from an early age and still keeps a trunk full of old stories that she wrote as a child (spoiler: someone dies horribly in most of them).
As a part-time adult, Amy graduated to sharing her strange imagination with others and her short fiction and poetry has been published internationally.
She has a background in psychology (which really helps to tell when you're going insane) and is an avid Disney fan despite appearances.
Her favourite works from other authors include: 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak, 'Coraline' by Neil Gaiman, 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' by Lionel Shriver and, most recently, 'Room' by Emma Donoghue.
