Amy lives on the south coast of England and is a curious soul who has a love for flowers and death in equal measure.
Despite a perfectly well-adjusted upbringing, she became fascinated by the dark and strange from an early age and still keeps a trunk full of old stories that she wrote as a child (spoiler: someone dies horribly in all of them).
As a part-time adult, Amy graduated to sharing her morbidity with others and her fiction has been published internationally.
She has a background in psychology (which really helps to tell when you're going insane) and is an avid Disney fan, despite appearances.
Her favourite works from other authors include: 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak, 'Coraline' by Neil Gaiman, 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' by Lionel Shriver and, most recently, 'Room' by Emma Donoghue. Oh, and there's a very battered copy of 'The Silence of the Lambs' in Amy's bag that's reserved for long waiting room visits because who doesn't want Hannibal Lecter for company?!
